Overview
klauscode.de is a personal project operated by Markus Klug ("we", "us"). This policy describes how we handle information when you use our website and associated services, including any applications that authenticate via Google OAuth.
Information We Collect
We collect minimal information necessary to operate our services:
- Authentication data: When you sign in via Google OAuth, we receive your name, email address, and profile picture as provided by Google. We use this solely to identify you within the application.
- Server logs: Standard web server logs (IP address, user agent, timestamps) are retained for operational and security purposes and automatically purged after 30 days.
- No tracking: We do not use analytics, tracking pixels, advertising networks, or third-party cookies.
How We Use Your Information
Authentication data is used exclusively to provide access to the application. We do not sell, share, or distribute your personal information to third parties. We do not use your data for advertising or profiling.
Data Storage & Security
Data is stored on servers located in the European Union (Germany). We use HTTPS/TLS encryption for all connections. Access to server infrastructure is restricted and secured with SSH key authentication.
Third-Party Services
We use Google OAuth for authentication. Google's privacy policy applies to information collected by Google during the sign-in process. We encourage you to review Google's Privacy Policy.
Your Rights
Under GDPR, you have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data. To exercise these rights, contact us at the address below. We will respond within 30 days.
Data Retention
We retain authentication data only for as long as your account is active. Server logs are automatically deleted after 30 days. You may request deletion of your data at any time.
